About Me

Here’s a little bit about me, my goals and my reasons in becoming a counsellor. I am 46 years old, a widow and I live with my two sons Steven 24 and Paul 22. I lost my husband in 2009, when he was only 45, being a huge turning point in my life.

This led to one of my first experiences in receiving counselling, as I went to see a bereavement counsellor and then also a holistic therapist, who helped me tremendously and allowed me to pick up life skills on the way. I have worked as a Nursery Nurse at a college crèche for the past 12 years, along with various other administration and care jobs.

Since losing my husband and going through a lot of personal troubles, I realised that it was time to take hold of my life once again, and consider a new challenge and career. Sharing how I’ve approached life’s battles and dealt with negatives, means it’s a huge aim of mine to share my knowledge and help others with whatever battles they face.

I’m a very approachable, kind person. I’m non-judgemental and a good listener. I have the time and enthusiasm to put all my efforts into helping you get over whatever you’re facing. I also have the experience of personally attending sessions with a counsellor and an holistic therapist, meaning I can relate to how my clients feel at the time of each session.

Counselling Space 1 Counselling Space 2 I am very flexible with no major domestic responsibilities. I offer my counselling services either during the day or in the evening, whichever is better suited to my clients. I work from home but if necessary, also arrange sessions at clients houses.

I enjoy music, reading, taking long walks with my dog, playing badminton and following Liverpool Football Club, as I am an avid football fan! I really love helping others, and I get the most joy from life through helping others.
